The acai seed
It grows in the tropical rainforests of South America, mostly in Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, and Peru.
The Acai tree is native to subtropical climates found in South and Central America. As Southern India and Amazon are tropical regions and are at the same distance from the Equator, both regions do have a similar climate and availability of water. Due to this reason, Acai palms can be easily grown in our country. Acai palms like an organic acidic soil that is found in their native Amazon rainforest soil.
The chemical composition of the soil in most parts of Southern India is found to be ideal for growing Acai plants.
Acai berries are dried in the sun and colored with natural dyes to showcase all colors of nature in their creations. This tradition has been part of the South American culture for centuries and we strive to keep them alive.
